It is now a rarity to find an R&B artist who can nestle comfortably amongst legendary and contemporary greats such as Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, R.Kelly, Usher and Ne-Yo, yet bring to the game his own flavour, set trends and transcend generations; As bold as it sounds, S.Davis does just that when he speaks to his audiences through the art of his lyricism, vocal stylings and superstar presence.
As early as a toddler in daycare, Toronto born R&B and pop singer, S.Davis was labelled "the entertainer" amongst his peers; however, it was Davis' soul shaking performance of Donnell Jones' "Where I Wanna Be", at his high school, and the reaction from his audience that exploded his burning desire to pursue his music career.
Since the inception of S.Davis' career as a vocalist, he has been beaming with a steady radiance, delivering stellar performances across North America, including his Students of the Future Tour, writing and recording material for his upcoming album and perfecting himself as an entertainer on a whole. Davis, a remarkably skilled singer-songwriter, vocal arranger, pianist and dancer released his single, "I Do", in late 2007 which rapidly became a club and radio favourite. The release of "I Do “sparked requests from DJ's, promoters, radio stations and audiences wanting to know, who is S.Davis? "I Do", still an audience favourite, has since shared the airwaves with another S.Davis' beauty "Journey" , after floods of requests for more of his music.
In light of continuous demands to hear and see more of S.Davis' shine, the talented singer has been working diligently to give his fans what they want and has recently released his EP titled, "Sneak Peak". As S.Davis states, "get ready for the start of something new", as he welcomes everyone "to a new era of R&B". With songs that feel like sunshine such as, "Stir it Up Again", which ignite what it feels like to be in the bliss of love, and "Our Year", where Davis encourages his fans to "follow [their] dreams and do what it takes", delivering the message dear to his heart that, "Perseverance and Hard Work Does Lead to Success", it is no surprise that S.Davis is poised to be one of the greats of contemporary R&B.
